After a premature end at P1/de Sportschool I am excited to announce that SMET found a home at Poreus (Rotterdam). A new artist driven, multidisciplinary and community led initiative in a monumental school building right in the centre of Rotterdam.

A studio in a spacious old classroom with 5m high ceilings. A space to grow our practice, not only individually and as collective but to become part of the Poreus community and be able to build it up from scratch with all involved.

A project with a long term goal still to be developed.

With a big garden area, presentation- and workshop space(s) available there are enough ideas floating around and opportunities to develop. Expect new (art) shows, book events, benefits, readings, screenings and presentations.

It is good to be back in Rotterdam!

More soon!
