A Year in Pics

Knowing the local communities is the starting point for our programming. In our approach, research is not merely preparatory, and audience reach and participation are not peripheral programs, but rather the starting point for the project and the commissioned artworks. And it works: we estimate that we welcomed more than 1,000 visitors to the Gym between June and October 2024.

We had a big variety in our programming, from inviting writers for a talk, a woodcutting workshop, participating in art walks, organizing fundraisers for Gaza to small sound performances and a book residency. With pride and pleasure we look back on a successful first year of P1 at de Sportschool.
